Draping

As a licensed massage therapist with 19 years of experience, I prioritize your comfort, modesty, and safety during every session. One key aspect of providing a professional and respectful massage experience is draping.

Draping is the technique used to cover the body with a sheet and blanket while working on various parts of the body. This ensures that the client remains appropriately covered and warm, while still receiving targeted massage therapy. An experienced therapist, like myself, ensures that the draping is smooth, seamless, and does not interrupt the flow of the massage.

The primary priorities of proper draping are:

  1. Informed Consent: Always ensuring the client understands and agrees to how draping will be handled during the session.
  2. Client Modesty: Never exposing a client, and making sure they are draped appropriately at all times.
  3. Clear Communication: Maintaining an open dialogue to ensure comfort throughout the session.

Only the body part being worked on will be uncovered, and the focus remains on one area at a time. By keeping these principles in mind, I am able to create a relaxed and trusting environment where clients can fully enjoy their massage experience.

Draping not only ensures your safety and privacy but also enhances the therapeutic effects of the massage, allowing me to focus on your needs with professionalism and care.
